Sweep is hiring a Finance Operations Specialist, based in Paris, tasked to coordinate and deliver marketing products with impact, helping drive both sales and improve brand recognition.
Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit-ready reports to run the best sustainability programs. Sweep empowers companies to build resilience to global challenges with technology.
Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?
As part of the Finance Team, you'll be responsible for reporting and managing the closing.
You will report to Vp Finance and work closely with Financial controller, Accounting team and Sales ops team.
To be more specific, this includes:
1. Financial Operations & Processes 🤖
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and bank reconciliations
- Manage the billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, especially for subscription-based revenue streams
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition aligned with SaaS industry standards (e.g., ASC 606)
- Work closely with Sales Ops to manage and improve collections and DSO metrics
2. Systems & Reporting 🔎
- Maintain and optimize finance ERP and AP software (Cegid, QuickBooks, Spendesk)
- Be responsible for accounting closing and reporting. Prepare monthly reports on cash flow, revenue, and operational expenses
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- You will handle the accounting closing process: Accruals and unbilled review and follow up
3. Compliance & Audits 🌱
- Support tax filings, audits, and other compliance-related activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and help establish scalable policies as the company grows
- You will process Balance Sheet control: AP/AR/CCA/PCA/TVA (UK/FR), Balance Sheet Building, P&L building and Cash Reporting Building and Analysis
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration 🤝
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine pricing models and optimize contract structures
- Support FP&A with data inputs for forecasting and budgeting exercises

Qualifications 🏆
- You bring a minimum of 4/5 years of experience as an auditor/ consultant as a first experience and then a finance role within a tech SaaS Startup such as French Tech startups
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics like ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, and churn
- Familiarity with revenue recognition principles and subscription billing platforms
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
