QphoX is looking for a Quantum Scientist to join us in developing and building our quantum modem. To achieve our mission, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates with scientific skills and resourcefulness.

With access to cutting-edge methodologies and state-of-the-art tools, our laboratory team works in our recently expanded and fully operational laboratory to characterize devices, perform experiments and find the next generation of improvements to propel our technology forward.
You will be involved in:
- Being involved in measurements and characterization of transducer devices
- Quantum optics experiments
- Analysing, summarizing, and sharing your results.
- Solving technical and engineering challenges
- Working in collaboration with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists and engineers.
Skills and knowledge you will bring to QphoX:
- PhD graduate with a background in physics, applied physics, optics, photonics or related field
- 3-4 years of proven experience
- Proven experimental track record
- Strong understanding of quantum optics
- Programming with Python for data acquisition, measurement and/or analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers, scientists and technicians with a wide range of expertise
- Good organizational and planning skills to achieve set goals on time
- Quick to learn new techniques for different tools
Supplementary skills set:
- Experience with cryogenic measurements
- Experience with microwave measurements
- Experience with mechatronics, the measurement of integrated photonics devices or robotics.
