About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in a fast-growing pioneering cyber security company and have a direct impact on the future of our business by helping to influence global adoption of our award-winning Security Control Validation platform. As Regional Sales Director for the Southern Europe region, you will be a true player-coach, directly impacting sales while being accountable for leading and shaping the sales business across the region, scaling revenue to the next level. This role will suit a career Sales Director, an existing Sales Director looking for their 2nd or 3rd move or a successful sales professional with leadership skills looking for their first Sales Director position. This is a remote based position in Spain or Italy with travel across Southern Europe, reporting directly to the CEO & Co-Founder.
What you’ll Do
- Carry an individual quota and Regional quota, working with the CEO and the Picus team in our mission to make the Picus Platform the most widely deployed Security Validation solution in the world!
- Develop and execute a consistent and scalable sales and marketing strategy for the region to maximize growth objectives.
- Develop account plans, initially individually and in time with the growth of Region with each team member, to achieve goals and consistently deliver against quota.
- Accurate regional forecasting and measurement of sales activity, providing reporting to the CEO.
- Create and maintain close partnerships with the management team and work collaboratively with our Picus teams (Solution Architects, Channel Management, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Growth, etc.) to support your Region in achieving your sales strategy, as well as exercising and executing the Picus vision.
- Create an open, inclusive team oriented environment, building a results-driven culture through accountability and transparency.
- Lead the team with energy, passion and above all integrity, supporting Picus to maintain our culture.
- Run team meetings, QBRs and engagement activities for the team.
- Efficiently channel product feedback from the sales process to the product development pipeline.
- Take lead in RFP’s and preparation of quotations and proposals.
- Use data to maximize success and create new sales growth opportunities.
- Represent Picus at conferences, webinars and live seminars.
- Develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners.
- Work with our talent team to attract, recruit and retain exceptional sales talent.
- Be continuously curious with a growth mindset, staying current with industry changes and trends to build expertise in Cybersecurity and develop yourself both personally and professionally.
What You Have
- Solid proven experience and success as a Regional Sales Director, Area Manager or similar senior sales role in cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of, or training in, MEDDPICC framework would be an advantage.
- Experience selling IT Security software to a corporate enterprise IT audience.
- Demonstrable ability to manage complex sales cycles including the ability to provide coordination and direction to the extended team.
- Thorough knowledge of Salesforce to maintain a current and accurate pipeline.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic presence.
- Ability to present and engage an audience.
- Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team.
- High influencing and strong organisational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company.
- Focus and time management skills to work remotely and autonomously; with ability to travel as needed.
