At SellerX we are growing our Finance department and now we are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role you will be overseeing the financial operations of our Center of Excellence (COE) in Ortigas, Philippines. This role provides critical support for SellerX Group’s global financial transactions, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy across our diverse portfolio.

Your Responsibilities in Detail
- Lead statutory accounting operations across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), operating and capital expenditures, inventory, and month-end closing for SellerX Group.
- Manage sales and AR transaction bookings for various e-commerce marketplaces, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee B2B sales order processing, invoice posting, and AR settlements for 50+ brands.
- Supervise reconciliation processes for over 300 bank accounts, ensuring alignment with group financial records.
- Review monthly management accounts for the Philippines entity and conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations, including inter-company ledgers.
- Guarantee timely and accurate tax filings, statutory remittances, and compliance with Philippine regulations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in China, Europe, Hong Kong, and the USA for month-end closings, reports, and daily transaction postings.
- Provide guidance and training to a team of 9, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and system enhancements, particularly in NetSuite.
- Support various assigned projects, adapting to dynamic business needs.
Your Background
To join our team, you bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications are highly advantageous.
- 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong preference for e-commerce and marketplace transaction management.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
- Skilled in financial ERP systems (especially NetSuite) and advanced in Excel.
- Excellent English fluency and professional communication abilities.
- Collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, independent, and efficient work habits, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
