As a Sales Manager for the DACH region, you’ll become part of SumUp's first internal startup: the Point of Sale team. We’re growing an entirely separate software-as-a-service (SaaS) business around a Point of Sale Register product for our European markets. You’ll join an interdisciplinary team solving problems around the topics of lead generation, sales, operations, logistics, customer experience and marketing – with the aim of making this enterprise thrive.
What you’ll do
Get in touch with inbound leads in the DACH region and acquire new customers for our iPad-based Point of Sale solution via phone and email.
Offer great solutions to our customers' problems through a consultative sales approach.
Build relationships with our customers as their initial point of contact, and become an ambassador for SumUp by being friendly, caring, and proactive.
Actively look for opportunities to improve our customer experience and drive initiatives to optimise our sales process.
You’ll be great for this position if
You’re fluent in German, both spoken and written – conversational English is also necessary for the job.
You’re empathetic and can develop nourishing relationships with customers and team members.
You’re an active listener and you intuitively identify your customer’s needs.
You’re tech-savvy and eager to learn about our dynamic industry.
You’re excited to play a key role in achieving team goals.
Why you should join SumUp
We’re a truly global team of 2000+ people from 60+ countries, spread across 3 continents.
We get together regularly for breakfasts, team events, office parties and sports (as much as the current situation permits - if we can’t see each other in person, why try to create some virtual quality time)
You’ll receive a learning budget for attending conferences and external training.
We offer a corporate pension scheme, 28 days’ paid leave, free German and yoga classes, subsidised Urban Sports Club membership and other great benefits.
We offer visa and relocation support for you, your family and even your pets.
You’ll be based in the heart of Berlin, one of Europe’s leading tech hubs and most vibrant cities.
