We have the vision to disrupt and become the leader in B2B payments - we are building a Buy Now, Pay Later solution for B2B e-commerce businesses. Simply put, we make B2B payments seamless.

About the role
At Mondu, our People team is the backbone of the company, shaping the functions of recruitment, people experience, operations, payroll, and development opportunities for everyone. We're dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive workplace where every team member can thrive.
👩💻👨💻What you’ll do:
As a People Working Student (Dutch Speaking), you will play a crucial role in supporting the foundations of running a People team, through working with our People Operations Lead to optimize people processes, enhance employee engagement, and ensure operational efficiency, with a strong focus on our Dutch entity and colleagues.
- Support our People Operations team in ensuring a smooth and seamless journey for all employees at Mondu. Specifically:
- Get hands-on experience with people processes; from contract creation, onboarding, offboarding and much more.
- Put attention to detail top as you assist in the full spectrum of payroll processing.
- Gain exposure to essential people related topics for our Dutch, German and UK entities.
- Apply your creative juices to contribute to continuous process optimization and ad-hoc projects in the people space (e.g. relocation, internal events, office optimisation etc.).
On top, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved with any other People-related topics that arise in this fast-paced start-up, contributing to the overall success of the People team.
🏅What do you need to succeed in this role?
- You are an enrolled student in Germany (Bachelor or Master).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (C1+). Good communication skills in German is a plus.
- A keen interest in HR and a customer-focused approach to your work.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with different stakeholders and drive positive change.
- Attitude counts: A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Attention to detail, to never miss an important number
