Your responsibilities
- You lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing global team of claims specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- You continuously improve our claims-handling processes to streamline operations, reduce claims costs, and ensure best-in-class customer experiences.
- You drive the evolution of our in-house claims management system, working closely with product development teams to ensure the system meets current and future needs.
- You build strong, dynamic relationships with Commercial, Customer Support, and Logistics teams to create seamless feedback loops that enhance claims performance, track trends, and adapt policies.
- You develop a clear, overarching claims guideline/framework that aligns with our fast-paced and ever-evolving business strategy.
- You strengthen and improve our performance reporting framework, ensuring all necessary controls are in place to track success and continuously optimise.

About the role
As the Global Claims Lead (all genders) at buycycle, you’ll manage all post-delivery claims from buyers. Whether it's a bike arriving in the wrong condition, color, or missing accessories, your teams role will be to mediate disputes between buyers and sellers, ensuring swift and fair resolutions. Your work will directly influence our profitability, making you a key driver in buycycle’s growth. We’re not looking for someone with a routine background in insurance claims. Instead, we seek a candidate eager to build something new—to reshape the claims process into a more efficient, scalable, and innovative system.
