At FERNRIDE, we call the team that provides most of the services and infrastructure as well as verification efforts, the Engineering and Verification Ecosystems (EVE) team. As the foundation of Fernride engineering, the EVE team is poised to build the most productive engineering team in the world with an engineering system that scales, rock-solid cloud platforms and world class verification. From source management to deploying to individual vehicles roaming around different yards, from distributed building/testing to orchestrating container-based integration tests in the cloud, from customizing and installing OSs and firmware to building CLI and web services and applications, we have it all covered.
As a part of EVE team, you will work with a diverse technology stack that comprises C++, Rust, Python, Java, Kotlin, React, Typescript, Bazel, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, GitHub, Linux, embedded systems, Bash, Ansible, etc. Our team is impactful and has high leverage: we make the entire engineering organization more productive as well as provide services to our business developers and customers. You will have visibility into every other engineering team and their systems and engage in helping and mentoring them.
Leave your footprint by:
- Designing test plans and implementing scalable distributed engineering and verification systems to verify the development of remote-controlled and self-driving vehicles
- Enabling different teams to run their HW/SW integration tests using HIL as target device
- Empowering engineers to get to full autonomy faster by providing initiative and technical leadership at Fernride
- Implementing verification frameworks and driving test cases HW/SW integration tests, performance, stress tests, safety tests, SW update tests, specialized component tests or End-Of-Line tests
- Contributing to our build/test/CI/CD system, the largest distributed system at FERNRIDE
What you will bring to the team?
- 5+ years of proven experience in testing & verification including test automation
- 5+ years of proven experience in using Python for test automation. CAPL is a plus.
- Strong experience in using state-of-the-art tools like CAN and Ethernet analyzer, logic analyzer, python test automation frameworks, etc.
- Experience with planning software development projects and organizing small teams and experience working on larger software systems
- Strong communication skills (in English) and the ability to work effectively in a diverse and distributed team.
