We are seeking a Retail Partnership Associate to join our Retail Partnerships team. You will be assisting the Retail Partnerships and Operations teams in managing, growing, and developing the network of retail partners across all of Flaviar Inc’s Marketplaces, including Flaviar.com, Caskers.com, Flaviar Checkout, and Wine Searcher Marketplace.
This full-time position has a Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek, with a few afternoon hours each week to connect with our US retailers.
This role is based remotely in Europe with an opportunity to work from our office in Ljubljana, Slovenia. You will report to the Head of Retail Partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the wider Operations to understand the retail network and how it fits into all of Flaviar’s Marketplace offerings and product flywheel.
- Become well versed with Flaviar’s database and tools on reporting, plus Flaviar’s WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- In conjunction with the Head of RPM, analyze Retailer Key Performance Metrics on a weekly basis, draw conclusions, and make plans to communicate these metrics with the retail network. Identifying opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development of new SLAs and KPIs for Wine Searcher Marketplace, in conjunction with the Head of RPM, and the Wine Searcher Commercial Team, where necessary.
- Analyze pricing data on the top network of retailers, and present findings to those retailers, negotiating on price where applicable. Keep a track record of pricing evolution over time.
- In conjunction with Head of RPM, compile 6 monthly reviews for the cohort of Tier 1 status retailers and support in presenting these findings.
- Assist with the onboarding of new retailers into the network, including top US Wine Merchants into the Wine Searcher Marketplace.
- Maintain consistent, up-to-date, and accurate information on the retail network in RPM’s CRM tool, Monday.com.
- Manage daily communications with a cohort of retailers as set by the Head of RPM.
- Understand the various Marketplace’s payment flow and reporting systems, and be able to explain this to retailers who are looking for support.
- In conjunction with the Head of RPM, create new processes and procedures to manage the network in a more efficient and automated way, such as communication via monthly reports/newsletters, developing FAQs for the network, creating resource tools, and more.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic understanding of the US Alcohol Three-Tier System.
- Knowledge of CRM tools such as Monday.com - able to quickly grasp the flow of CRM and update daily, whilst making improvements to the process.
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Able to analyze basic data, provide insights and draw conclusions.
- Able to build basic presentations and create reports.
- Understanding of retailers' margins/costs/operations.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team, working quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, especially with retailers who are strapped for time.
