Job Description
As a Product Manager at ixigo, you will drive the product vision and roadmap, collaborating closely with tech, design and business teams. Your responsibilities will include building, launching, and growing products, fostering user engagement and retention, and ultimately achieving market dominance along with winning customer love!
Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify consumer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives.
Product Development: Lead and coordinate product development efforts, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements. Work closely with engineering, design, and content teams to define product requirements, iterate on designs, and optimize user experience.
Ownership: Take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics tools to track product performance, identify key metrics, and make data-driven decisions. Analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes to uncover opportunities for growth and optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment across teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination. Work closely with the founders to prioritize tasks and projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.
Innovation and Ideation: Continuously explore new opportunities for product innovation and growth. Organize brainstorming sessions, focus groups and customer research sessions to generate new ideas and stay ahead of market trends.
Quality Assurance: Be the gatekeeper for the high bar of the customer experience, ensuring product quality and reliability.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including executive leadership, engineering teams, and external partners.
Qualifications:
1-4 years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of delivering successful products.
Preferrably from tier 1 colleges but not necessary.
Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and industry best practices.
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
Experience with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Technical proficiency, including familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Clevertap).
Additional (Preferred):
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
Able to fit in well within an informal startup environment and to provide hands-on management
High energy level and untiring commitment to drive oneself & the team towards goals
Engineering background preferred but not necessary
