Sweep is hiring an Solutions Engineer- ESG Specialist tasked with supporting Account Executives to sell Sweep solutions to prospective clients and turning them into happy customers.
Working closely with the Enterprise Account Executives and Success team, you have a strong understanding of Carbon and ESG, with experience working in the climate tech space or sustainability consulting preferred. You have a diverse range of experience and competencies in some of the following areas:
- Carbon/ESG expertise Sales and commercial activity
- Delivering presentations and demonstrations
- Working in cross-functional teams
- Project implementation
- RFP response writing
- Public speaking
You have a passion for understanding customer challenges and creatively building value solutions to resolve them. You are able to navigate a customer interaction that is both technical and business-focused, with a variety of stakeholders including the C-level.
Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?
You are on the front line with the Enterprise Account Executives, developing and delivering presentations and demonstrations. You understand customer requirements and pain points. You develop and deliver technical solutions that address the customer’s needs.
To be more specific, this includes:
1. Bring technical expertise 🌱
- Working with organisations across a range of industries to understand their challenges and goals through focused discovery sessions and workshops
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and technical capabilities
- Keep asking probing questions and never stop learning about climate topics and customer challenges in different industries
- Demonstrate value for customers with Sweep’s product by delivering customized demos, presenting the value of our tools, and collaborating internally on narratives that align with the customer’s goals and maturity
- Deeply understand the customer's business objectives and develop a technology vision and roadmap to align with them
- Provide technical support during the sales cycle, answering customer questions and addressing concerns
2. Pre-Sales Support 🤝
- Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Account Executives to coordinate closing complex opportunities
- Assist salesperson with questions in RFPs and RFIs
- Be responsible for defining and delivering enablement content to ensure customers provide exceptional project implementation with the Sweep platform.
- Confidently present and articulate the business value of your proposed solution to business managers and executives
3. Become a Sweep ambassador 🎙
- Act as the voice of the customer to inform our product team on insights, trends, and opportunities across our strategic accounts
- Present at marketing events
- Training and enablement of the sales team

Qualifications 🏆
- You already have experience in a sustainability role
- Good knowledge of decarbonization & climate practices
- Experience and understanding of the Carbon & ESG/Sustainability industry
- An understanding of software-as-a-service environments, ideally in the B2B Enterprise space
- Ability to actively listen to customer requirements and provide a solution to address the customer’s business issues, maturity and technical requirements
- Storytelling: outstanding presentation skills with the ability to tell a story that speaks to value and resonates with the audience
- Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to evolve in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in French and English
