As an DevSecOps Engineer, you will be a key member of our engineering team bringing experience of operations and security using DevOps to drive the growth of Loadsure’s products.
Your primary role will be to build and deploy distributed applications and big data pipelines in the cloud. You will play a key role in influencing and building the DevSecOps framework whilst working with the latest technologies in a cloud based environment.
You will be highly organised and comfortable building relationships and working with all levels of the firm. Stakeholder management and communication will be vital to the success of the role.

Key Responsibilities;
- Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems
- Proactively organise the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Establish standards for, implement, and build deployment and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring and infrastructure management within a cloud environment
- Collaborate with our engineering team to create an automated CI/CD system
- Build and configure delivery environments supporting CD/CI tools
- Create scripts and/or templates to automate / bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks
- Monitor and support systems and infrastructure
- Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Manage the company’s security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them in collaboration with developers
Skills and Qualifications;
Essential
- 3 + years experience within a Engineering or Senior Engineer position or similar
- Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing strategies
- Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, logging
- Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production
- Demonstrated experience of CI/CD implementation
- Excellent knowledge of networking technologies
- Strong scripting skills, including shell scripts, Bash, Python, Ruby
- Good experience in administering and performance tuning of application stacks
- Eagerness and willingness to learn

- Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing technical environment
