As a Software Engineer in this position, you will play a key role in delivering enterprise-level solutions. Working closely with product and technology leaders, you will help create a unique product tailored for the packaging industry's enterprise sector.
Your contributions will significantly shape the project's architecture, codebase, development lifecycle, and overall product quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in building high-quality full stack applications using Typescript/React and one of the languages: Ruby / PHP / Python.
- Strong collaboration skills with Product, Design, and UX teams to develop web products.
- Ability to estimate, plan, and deliver software according to development roadmaps.
- A working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) at both strategic and tactical levels (bonus for expertise).
- Deep understanding of software craftsmanship, including architecture, development lifecycles, and code quality.
- Experience writing technical specifications detailing architectural changes for upcoming projects.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (we use AWS).
- Competence in observability and monitoring for web applications.
- A continuous learner who works independently and makes sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- A team player able to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams of diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in business-level English.
In This Role, You Will:
- Act as a key contributor to the software engineering team.
- Provide technical guidance to support Product Managers in defining product vision.
- Facilitate communication between the development team and internal business stakeholders.
- Challenge technical decisions and propose alternatives to optimize delivery timelines and meet long-term goals.
- Help streamline project planning by providing feedback and estimating implementation efforts.
- Align technical deliverables with project goals while considering broader company objectives.
- Contribute to building large, extensible software systems, applying Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, and various enterprise design patterns to maintain modular and maintainable code.
What We Offer:
- Remote Flexibility: Work remotely or in a hybrid model, depending on your location. Our Warsaw office, close to the city center, offers free parking.
- Top-of-the-line Tools: Access the latest technology, including M1 MacBook Pro and industry-standard software.
- Health & Wellness: Private healthcare, life insurance, mental health support, and a subsidized MultiSport card.
- Generous Time Off: Enjoy 26 paid vacation days, plus 1 additional Better Future Day dedicated to making a positive impact in the world.
How We Work:
- We communicate and track work using Slack, Notion, and Linear.
- We focus on results, not hours—everyone sets their own schedule.
- We employ OKRs and similar frameworks to hold ourselves accountable.
- Feedback is core to our culture, with regular 1:1s, check-ins, and retrospectives.
- We prioritize transparency and structured communication over ad-hoc DMs or calls.
