Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all Gensyn company offsites, including location scouting, travel coordination, activity planning, and catering.
- Plan and execute Gensyn company events, including in-person events at industry conferences, as well as ad hoc events (including virtual events, e.g. X Spaces); manage all related programming, promotion, and vendor management.
- Frequently attend Gensyn events and represent the company if needed (e.g. engaging community members at our conference booth).
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Handle post-event analysis and feedback - in order to continually improve the quality and impact of future events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Extensive experience planning global company events, including offsites and conferences. Ability to work autonomously, owning large-scale projects with little or no supervision.
- Experience engaging with conference/event attendees.
- Ability to travel to any Gensyn event, regardless of location.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a fully remote company.
- Experience working at a high growth, early stage, startup.
- Experience in the blockchain and/or machine learning space is strongly preferred.
