About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Principal Product Designer to lead the design of new initiatives within Pharmeasy. This role is focused on driving innovation and improving the user experience for millions of customers. You will take ownership of key design projects aimed at enhancing and optimizing existing offerings, ensuring they align with business objectives and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of new initiatives within Pharmeasy, from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to drive the design process for improvements and enhancements to existing products and services.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate ideas and improvements clearly.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to drive cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
- Present design strategies and solutions to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations.
- Develop design principles and frameworks for continuous improvement of existing offerings.
- Mentor and guide other designers in the team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 6+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on user experience within the B2C space.
- Proven track record of leading design for high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in refining and optimizing existing products.
- Expertise in user-centered design, research methodologies, and usability testing.
- Ability to think strategically and translate complex problems into clear, effective designs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers, advocating for design thinking in product development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
