About The Role
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing the sales strategy for his region. He will establish key relationships with clients and drive consistent revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in SaaS sales leadership, a deep understanding of the SaaS sales cycle, and the ability to outperform in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Co-develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business and company goals
- Set ambitious sales targets and manage a pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed revenue goals
- Identify and penetrate new markets/opportunities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key prospects and clients
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by collaborating with Customer
- Success and Platform Support teams
- Work closely with Marketing to develop demand generation strategies and sales enablement materials
- Collaborate with Product teams to provide feedback on market needs and customer pain points
- Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize pricing, contracts, and sales processes
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve performance
- Manage and maintain sales forecasts, pipeline, and CRM data integrity
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field;
- 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior sales role within a SaaS environment
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, high-growth company
- Deep understanding of SaaS business models, sales cycles, and the technology industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive or similar) and data-driven sales management
- Maritime or Shipping knowledge or related experience will be considered a big plus
