Y Combinator is looking for a Media Team Coordinator to support our Head of Media. This position involves assistance in planning and executing media campaigns across platforms, helping the team meet project deadlines, and handling administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who’s comfortable working independently based out of our San Francisco headquarters. Key Responsibilities:
Support our Head of Media and our video production team.
Ensure media projects stay on track by overseeing production and company launch schedules.
Ensure timely delivery of assets, approvals, and materials needed for media content creation.
Assist in planning and executing media campaigns across platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, and video.
Attend and support events as needed.
Draft communications as needed.
Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining project documents, vendor agreements, and other records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in media production, project management, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in media production software and project management tools.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with digital content creation, including social media management, video production, and graphic design.
Writing experience.
Experience with data analytics tools and social media metrics.
Familiarity with technology and early-stage startups.
Location: YC is headquartered in the SF Bay Area. Candidates must live in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate. Must be comfortable working from our San Francisco office in the Dogpatch at least 3 days per week.
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 + bonus (depending on skills and experience).
