About the role
Beam has gone through a lot of change through the years: supporting different demographics of people, launching new services, growing our team and creating a first of its kind AI tool for social workers.
All of this is underpinned by our ambitious mission, to give everybody access to human-centred welfare services. There's a long way to go to achieve this!
We need to ensure the best structure and focus post-Series A and this role will play a crucial part in achieving that, a unique opportunity to work side by side with our Co-Founder and create measurable impact in the company.

You’ll be
Setting and monitoring targets - ensuring every team at Beam is crystal clear on what their targets are and why they are working to achieve them
Developing a high performance culture - creating an environment where success is celebrated and we learn from missed opportunities
Supporting team leaders - empowering team leaders to think strategically and level their teams up that retains clear accountability across the company as we scale
Strategising and planning - running sessions with our leadership team to review company health and refine our strategy towards success
Iterating - alongside our Business Insights team, making sure we are assessing the metrics that matter
You’ll need
A history of driving high performance in a growing company - evidence of setting clear, ambitious performance metrics as part of a leading startup or support organisation
Results-driven - nothing motivates you more than running at big stretch targets that move the needle on company growth
Operational superstar - you can elegantly simplify the complex and create clear memorable processes for use across a team of nearly 200 Beamers
Analytically minded - comfortable working with qualitative and quantitative data to decipher insights and deliver tangible changes
A natural storyteller - natural communication skills and the gravitas to bring various teams and a truly diverse workforce together on a journey
Passionate about strategic project management - able to both meticulously plan and execute projects, with the confidence to change direction when something isn’t working
