Your Mission The Legal team advises the company by analyzing and offering advice on a variety of legal matters to support the company’s operations. They work collaboratively to help the business identify, produce, and implement practical business solutions to achieve the company’s goals.
What you'll do at UiPath- Monitors and examines legislation applicable to the company’s business and operations.
- Applies effective risk management techniques and offers proactive advice on potential legal issues. Effectively communicates the identified risks and legal issues involved in any decision to the business stakeholders/leadership.
- Prepares and reviews legal documents, policies and procedures needed for the company’s business operations. Provides adequate training on legal compliance to business partners and stakeholders.
- Drafts, negotiates, and executes agreements and contracts on behalf of the company.
- Manages litigation and dispute resolution, including coordinating written discovery and responding to subpoenas and other information requests.
- Manages outside counsels and acts as an intermediary between them and business stakeholders.
- Manages projects relevant to their area of expertise and coordinates others in the Legal team to successfully deliver the projects.
- Also, as an employee of UiPath you are required to comply at all times with UiPath’s policies that were communicated to you from time to time and that are available on Inside UiPath.
What you'll bring to the team- 2+ years of relevant experience working as a legal counsel in a company (preferably in the technology space) or a lawyer in an international law firm and strong legal knowledge.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with a strong understanding of the key company goals and drivers that determine business success.
- Excellent client focus and communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organization at all levels.
- Experience of working with, and influencing, leadership decisions.
- Proactive and confident in delivering tasks and communicating advice to company’s stakeholders/leadership with high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Collaborative, self-directed, results-oriented and the ability to manage frequently changing priorities and cross-functional teams and projects.
- Law degree (bar admission in relevant geographies might be required).
