Make Your Mark:This is a key role for the APJ region, supporting the HR Director in building relationships and partnering with business leaders across India, Australia, Singapore & Japan. This individual requires technical expertise coupled with high EQ, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Our People Partners engage with the business in a hands-on consultative manner, identifying talent needs and critical skills gaps, forecasting and developing plans for internal mobility and OD, and leading strategic people and business initiatives.
This individual should be comfortable providing data-based insights and supporting talent strategies and programs that enable the long-term growth of our BlackLiners.
The APJ HRBP is a scopey role for a talented HR professional, looking for accelerated career growth.
You'll Get To: - Support the APJ HR Director in providing best-in-class strategic people support for the region, through all key employee life-cycle and cyclical events
- Be an active partner in a highly collaborative international Human Resources team
- Leverage human resources subject matter expertise in the formulation, recommendation and deployment of HR programs and policies, combining strategic sense with tactical execution.
- Provide coaching and guidance to regional business leaders at all levels
- Use a data-driven approach to analyze trends, inform decisions, and implement actions to increase productivity and retention
- Report on key talent metrics and KPIs to measure performance within the business and proactively highlight areas of risk and opportunity
- Adapt organization-wide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs across the APJ region, customising for local and cultural nuances
- Partner with Total Rewards team to align compensation with competitive market expectations
- Work collaboratively with our Talent Development team to shape development programs for high potential employees and key talent
- Design and facilitate change efforts & communication strategies related to HR and other organization wide programs.
- Support ER investigations, partnering with internal and external legal counsel where appropriate
- Exercise discretion and judgment to make critical decisions in administering internal policies and controls in compliance with applicable legislation (SOX, Information Security, ESG, internal audits)
What You'll Bring: Established Human Resources partner with 7-10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources business partner role, preferably in a global and/or Tech or SaaS business.
Education: Requires a university degree or its equivalent in experience in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Can-do, sleeves-rolled-up attitude, committed not only to solving problems but ruthless process improvement for the future
- A sponge: someone with the desire to learn and expand in the HR field. Comprehensive technical knowledge of all countries within APJ is not a must, but a willingness to grow and develop their HR skillset is
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational savvy, relates well to others, builds relationships throughout the organization, and is a quick study to organisation dynamics
- A trusted advisor, able to effectively collaborate with and engage stakeholders in difficult discussions, to challenge assumptions and present alternate explanations and solutions
- Solid knowledge in the areas of organizational design, staffing, learning & development practices and employment law matters (ethics, conduct, employee wellness, staffing, shifts and time tracking, employment obligations, leaves of absence, etc.).
- Agility to work swiftly within tight time constraints and adapt to changing priorities while remaining calm under pressure
- Ability to cope with change, ambiguity and risk
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals to organize, prioritize and time-manage work with keen attention to detail and accuracy in presentation of information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS (SuccessFactors is a plus) and ATS platforms (iCIMS knowledge is useful but not essential)
