Make Your Mark:Your Career
We are looking for a Senior Manager with experience in engineering operations and software release management processes. You will oversee the entire release process, from planning and scheduling to executing the release. You must have experience managing product releases in a complex, fast-paced, heterogeneous IT environment with many SaaS and On-prem systems.
You should have experience in transforming long-release cycles to short-release cycles with continuous deployment to the production environments. There will be multiple releases every month. Good written, verbal communication skills are necessary as you will work closely with product Leaders, Program managers, Product managers, and Dev/Tech leads. You will ensure all approvals are obtained to release the software in a timely manner to Test, Pre-Production, and Production environments. You will also manage Dev, Test, and UAT environment refreshes.
You are responsible for ensuring the quality of all systems (SaaS, On-prem, home-grown). This role is reporting to the Senior Director of Quality.
You'll Get To: Your Impact
- Define and drive the execution of the CI/CD process for the applications
- Work with project, product, and development teams to create and maintain release schedules
- Manage version control and release documentation
- Perform risk assessments and contingency planning
- Manage and execute the deployment of build to Test and Production environments
- Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate release plans and progress
- Manage SDLC environment refresh and schedule working with project managers and product lead
What You'll Bring: Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- 9+ years of proven experience as a Release Manager and managing engineering operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline and build tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Harness etc.
- Proficiency in scripting to automate repetitive tasks
- Comfortable communicating directly with software developers, test Engineers, Cloud Engineers
- Proficiency in scripting to automate repetitive tasks
- Exposure to cloud environments such as GCP/AWS/Azure etc
- Experience with version control systems
- Experience working in an Agile, scrum environment

Salary Range: USD $171,000.00 - USD $228,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement: Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
