Job Description
- Business Partnering: Build strong relationships at different levels of the organization and act as a partner to commercial teams to facilitate both cost control and profitable growth.
- Analyze performance: Identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement by analyzing sales performance, pricing strategies, and customer profitability.
- Enhance Financial Operations: Expand and improve our planning and performance management landscape by leveraging financial and analytical systems’ capabilities, and actively engaging with stakeholders from different parts of the Group to set aspirational yet achievable goals
- Modeling and Forecasting: Build your own models from scratch and improve existing models to capture complex business dynamics, and every day improve the way we look at our business to support strategic decision-making
- Budget Oversight: Play a leading role in the budget and forecasting cycles to ensure that budget requests are collected, reviewed, and optimized
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking or fast paced growth companies; retail and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
- Master’s degree in business administration, economics or a comparable course of study
- Proven track record in driving topics and projects in fast-paced environments as well as acting as a sparring partner for key decisions
- Hands-on experience with data analytics (Excel, VBA, G-Sheets, Looker etc.) combined with a tech-savvy attitude
- Quick thinker with can-do attitude as well as easy adaptability to change and work independently
- Business professional communication in English plus ideally an additional corporate language (German, Dutch)
