Role overview
This is a crucial role in customer success and technical support, ensuring that clients effectively use Platforma for their NGS data analysis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NGS bioinformatics analysis, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for helping researchers succeed.
This position is open to remote candidates, with regular travel to our headquarters in Bilbao, Spain, or the possibility of relocation for those interested.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Success
- Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and continuous support.
- Assist clients in immune repertoire analysis, antibody discovery, and general NGS data processing using Platforma.
- Troubleshoot software-related issues and provide bioinformatics guidance for users.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to the development team for product improvements.
Educational Content & Training
- Create tutorial videos, webinars, and training sessions to educate users on Platforma.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, FAQs, and best practices for customers.
- Conduct live training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams.
Collaboration & Product Improvement
- Work closely with the Platforma development team to provide customer-driven feedback and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content showcasing the advantages of Platforma for different applications.
Qualifications
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
- Strong experience in NGS bioinformatics analysis (e.g., DNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, immune repertoire sequencing, single-cell sequencing).
- Experience with MiXCR and immune repertoire data analysis is a major advantage.
- Background in antibody discovery, TCR/BCR sequencing, or immunology-related bioinformatics is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in bioinformatics tools, pipelines, and scripting languages (Python, R, etc.).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – ability to create clear and engaging educational materials.
- Experience in customer support, technical support, or customer success in a scientific software environment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
