eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. We are looking for a Technical Procurement Manager (f/m/d).
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Procurement Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for sourcing specialized components and materials for the development and operation of our trapped-ion quantum computers. As part of the Supply Chain team, you will work closely with our international team of physicists and engineers to ensure that all technical requirements are met efficiently. Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the following tasks:
- Procure and manage orders for technical specialty parts in close collaboration with development and production teams
- Evaluate feasibility and costs with internal teams and suppliers
- Oversee cost and quality control, while monitoring logistics processes for efficiency
- Maintain and enhance the ERP system to streamline procurement operations
- Optimize the supplier network and drive strategic supplier management
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and quality assurance
- Mentor junior team members
Required skills:
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or a comparable qualification
- 3–5 years of experience in purchasing and technical procurement
- Experience in working with ERP systems
- Fluency in German and English for technical discussions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Independent, solution-oriented mindset with strong prioritization skills
