About Wayflyer
Our mission is to give the world access to the best products by empowering great brands to reach their growth potential.
Today's consumer brands need a capital provider that keeps pace with their growth ambitions. Traditional financing options are slow, cumbersome and often out of reach. That's why we built Wayflyer.
Our unique technology allows us to assess businesses in minutes, generate financing offers that reflect their growth potential and send funds in as little as 24 hours.
Since launching in April 2020, we've deployed over $4.5bn to thousands of brands worldwide, backed by Tier 1 banks like J.P. Morgan. We've become a trusted financing partner for some amazing brands, like True Classic, Little Words Project and Kekoa Foods.
Teams at Wayflyer are truly cross-functional. You'll be collaborating with ambitious colleagues from around the world - all striving to deliver on a huge opportunity. Check out this video to hear directly from them.
About the Talent Acquisition team
The Talent Acquisition team at Wayflyer is a tight-knit group of five, split between London and Dublin. We’re a mix of recruiters, a coordinator, and a sourcer, working in a lean, agile setup where everyone pitches in and is used to wearing multiple hats. Along with finding great people to join Wayflyer, we’re focused on improving how we hire across the company. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable in a small, fast-paced team and has experience working on strategic projects to help us take our hiring efforts to the next level.
What you'll do
Own and drive high-volume recruitment for our Go-To-Market (GTM) team, specifically focused on Account Executive and Business Development Manager hiring.
Partner closely with GTM leaders to deeply understand their hiring needs, provide market insights, and build scalable recruitment strategies that meet big growth targets.
Manage the end-to-end hiring process at pace, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation, while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.
Build and execute proactive talent pipeline strategies to ensure a steady flow of qualified, sales-ready candidates for immediate and future hiring needs.
Leverage data and analytics to track hiring metrics, optimise processes, and influence decision-making.
Stay ahead of hiring trends in tech sales recruitment, using innovative sourcing methods to attract high-performing sales talent in competitive markets.
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market intelligence, salary benchmarking, and strategic hiring guidance to improve time-to-hire and quality-of-hire.
Knowledge, skills and experience
2-4 years proven experience hiring top sales talent within a fast-growth organisation.
Experience hiring across different business functions including Finance, HR and Legal, and be willing to step outside of GTM hiring to help with ad-hoc high priority business roles where required.
A strong understanding of sales hiring—from SDRs to Enterprise Sales—and what makes a successful GTM hire.
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions at scale, balancing speed and quality in a high-demand environment.
Exceptional sourcing skills, with the ability to attract top sales talent through direct sourcing, referrals, and creative outreach.
Strong data-driven mindset, using metrics and insights to continuously refine hiring strategies.
Agility and adaptability—comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment with shifting priorities.
Entrepreneurial approach—proactively identifying ways to improve processes and drive efficiency in high-volume hiring.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and hiring managers.
What is important to point out is that you can do most or all of the above mentioned and can point to your real experience doing it. You’ve probably done it at companies of different shapes, sizes and industries. Given what we do, experience in financial services, fintech and business-to-business organisations is particularly interesting to us.
On top of that, you’re amazing at prioritisation. You make sure you’re not spread too thin while also giving teams the support they need. You spend your time on the things that make a positive difference. People get why you’ve chosen to say ‘yes’, ‘no’, or ‘not yet’, and are ok with it.
What you’re like as a person and how you treat people is a big deal for us. People love working with you. You’re helpful and generous with your time and knowledge. People love helping you back. People know where they stand with you.
You’re always looking to learn and grow, on a personal and professional level. And you’re always looking to help others learn and grow by sharing your own knowledge and experience.
You know why diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging matters, and speak up when we can do better.
