About the Role
We are looking for a People Partner to join our team in Colombia. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business objectives into strategic people initiatives that align with our People Strategy, driving business growth, and enhancing employee performance and engagement. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to build trusted relationships and develop a deep understanding of the business and its objectives. Additionally, you will provide functional leadership and expertise in people processes, programs, and policies.
What You’ll be Doing
Business Strategy Alignment: Contribute to the development and execution of the business strategy by partnering with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes that support future growth.
Consultation & Guidance: Conduct regular meetings with respective business units and consult with line management to provide expert HR guidance when appropriate.
Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and effective approach.
HR Operations: Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Legal Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management and regulatory compliance, working closely with the legal department when needed.
Performance Management: Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, career development, and handling disciplinary actions.
Workplace Culture & Retention: Foster strong relationships between management and employees to improve morale, increase productivity, and drive higher retention rates.
Policy Guidance: Offer guidance and interpretation of HR policies, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
Workforce Planning & Succession: Assist with business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning to ensure the business is equipped for future success.
Talent Development: Identify and develop key competencies, ensuring appropriate training and development resources are available to meet business needs.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Drive data-informed decisions, supporting the calibration and rewarding of high performance.
Collaboration with People Team: Partner with the People Team to contribute to our people strategy, ensuring a best-in-class experience for all employees.
What you will need for this position
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or in a related field is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Metrics
Employee Engagement Score: Measure of overall employee satisfaction and commitment to the organization's mission and values.
Turnover Rate: Percentage of employees leaving the company within a specific period, indicating retention and job satisfaction levels.
Performance Review Completion Rate: Percentage of performance reviews completed on time, reflecting the effectiveness of performance management processes.
Learning & Development Participation: Measure of employee engagement in training and development programs, highlighting the focus on continuous learning and growth.
