Job Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for driving new business growth through prospecting, lead generation, and identifying potential clients. You will play a key role in setting up meetings, supporting sales initiatives, and helping execute strategies to ensure growth in line with company objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers by researching, networking, and cold calling across various platforms.
- New Business Development: Generate fresh business leads through diverse channels, focusing on targeting high-potential prospects.
- Strategy Support: Assist in the development and execution of growth strategies aimed at achieving financial goals and increasing business revenue.
- Market Research: Conduct detailed market research to discover new opportunities and understand client needs, helping shape business strategies.
- Client Meetings: Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Sales Executives to convert leads into active business opportunities.
- Sales Support: Assist senior business development executives in preparing for meetings and proposals, contributing to the sales process.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continual improvement and alignment with goals.
- Event Participation: Attend meetings, workshops, exhibitions, and industry events to stay informed and build relationships.
- Documentation Management: Keep documents and sales records up to date, ensuring all client interactions are logged accurately.
- Sales Process Support: Observe and actively participate in various sales processes, continuously learning from the team's best practices.
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Bachelor's program.
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships.
- Ability to work independently while being a proactive and motivated team player.
- High level of energy and enthusiasm, with a proactive approach to lead generation and sales efforts.
- Basic understanding of CRM(Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) tools and sales software is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (analysing spreadsheets, charts, and data).
- Analytical thinking: Ability to understand and work with sales performance metrics.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
