Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented HIL and EGSE Hardware Engineer to help us in our mission by contributing to the definition and integration of the qualification and test platforms for our orbital vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as HIL and EGSE Hardware Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:

• Contributing to the definition of the architecture of the various Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform and EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment)

• Designing and manufacturing ground electronic equipment for the Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform and EGSE

• Procuring hardware building blocks for the Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform from multiple suppliers

• Integrating the various Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform and EGSE

• Validating the Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform prior to connexion with the flight hardware

• Automating of Hardware In the Loop (HIL) testing

What we would love to see from you

In the role HIL and EGSE Hardware Engineer ideally, you will have the following:

• A masters/bachelor degree in electronic science or engineering

• A good theoretical and/or practical understanding of electronic systems

• Exposure to designing and implementing test systems for electronics

• Previous Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform experience

• Basic knowledge of verification and validation of avionics and embedded software

• Basic understanding of space avionics
