As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Sourcing Lead to support our Research & Development functions, reporting into the Program Manager.
This role will source, follow up and build relationships with new suppliers and production partners.
You will play a critical role in strategising how to source new materials and approach new suppliers. Your objective will be to ensure material/partner sourcing never becomes a bottleneck in our development workstreams.
We’re looking for an individual who enjoys solving complex problems, thinking about new and efficient ways to complete tasks, and is motivated by fostering new and existing connections.
This is a part-time role, we are open to 1-2 full days per week or flex hours across the working week.

How you'll help build one

- Supplier relations: build and maintain excellent relationships with our suppliers & partners. Treat our suppliers & partners with the same level of care we give to our customers. Work with internal stakeholders to provide timely, detailed and relevant feedback to our suppliers and partners, so we can maintain strong and transparent collaborations with all relevant players.
- Technical Data Collection: Collect and manage relevant technical data about materials or partners to ensure more efficient and data-driven selections going forward. Adhere to data quality standards and practices set by the organisation internally, so we can integrate this data into our Qt.Master platform.
- Project Assistance: Provide support on various operational projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Who You Are
- Enjoy customer interactions and finding new ways to reach out to new suppliers/partners. Ideally you’ve previously worked in a customer/supplier-facing role and can demonstrate creative ways to engage new suppliers and partners.
- Strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of high quality data collection. You should be able to show previous examples or demonstrate knowledge of what kind of supplier/partner data is relevant for our purposes.
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management - show us how you’ve worked with colleagues/teams in the past to help you achieve your goals.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to think about existing processes and continuously ask yourself how we could do things better/differently.
- Confident communicator, eager to pick up phone and engage with new suppliers
- You love finding creative solutions to unique challenges, and aren’t afraid to be scrappy in problem solving
- Excellent communication skills in English, as this is our business working language (German would be a HUGE plus but not necessary)
- Proficiency in CRM software (we use Hubspot)

Hiring Process
- Application Review and TA Screen. Your application will be reviewed and if successful, one of our Talent Acquisition team will reach out and book in a 30 minute introductory Google Meets call.
- Hiring Manager call: If successful, you'll move on to a more in depth professional call with one of our awesome hiring managers. Here we'll delve deeper into your commercial experience and aspirations, lasting around 1 hour over Google Meet.
- Team call: If successful, you'll then move on to discuss current company culture and ways of working with other senior members of the team. You'll get the chance to demonstrate how your skills and personality might complement or “add” to the current team while talking us through a practical scenario or two.
- Final Culture and Values Call with the Founder(s). Providing you with a solid understanding of the future aims, values and aspirations of the company.
