About the team
The Applied Computer Vision Team at Protex champions the development and deployment of pioneering safety solutions. As part of the Engineering team, we are committed to state-of-the-art software development practices encompassing a diverse range of technologies.
What You'll Do:
Work and build solutions within complex distributed systems.
Plan and execute entire features, collaborating with peers.
Deploy your features on Edge devices within client environments.
What You'll Need:
Proficiency in Python and experience with C++.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
Proven track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
You desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow.
Despite having roots in back-end development, you enjoy being a generalist, occasionally working on front-end or infrastructure as needed to solve problems and delight our users. (You don’t need to be an expert in all these areas but should be interested in learning about them).
Nice-to-Haves
Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
Previous experience with Computer Vision applications
Experience with real-time Image/Video Processing
