Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Business Analyst or Technical Project Manager to join our product team within FintechOS. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our product roadmap. They will streamline the coordination of tasks, support the technical development team, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables. This dual-role approach is designed to identify the right fit for our team, with the flexibility to prioritize business analysis or project management based on the candidate's expertise.
Responsibilities
For Technical Business Analyst:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements for product use cases.
2. Translate business needs into technical requirements, epics, and user stories for the development team.
3. Analyze and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
4. Develop detailed documentation, workflows, and process maps to support the team’s understanding.
5. Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and resolve blockers.
6. Monitor and evaluate the success of delivered features, ensuring adherence to business goals.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with various project stakeholders, facilitating workshops and discussions to achieve consensus and alignment on project objectives and changes.
For Technical Project Manager:
1. Oversee project planning, sprint management, and milestone tracking for product initiatives.
2. Manage epics, tasks, and timelines within project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
3. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
4. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely delivery of product roadmap milestones.
5. Communicate progress to stakeholders through detailed status reports and dashboards.
6. Ensure team productivity and focus, addressing blockers and dependencies proactively.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with various project stakeholders, facilitating workshops and discussions to achieve consensus and alignment on project objectives and changes.
Skills
Must-Have:
- Proven experience in either a Technical Business Analyst or Technical Project Manager role.
- Strong familiarity with product management framework concepts, ideally within a financial or fintech context.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps,Confluence).
- Ability to write and manage epics, user stories, and technical requirements.
- Experience with platform-oriented environments, preferably on Azure.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in financial services platforms or AI-powered solutions for banking/insurance.
- Technical understanding of cloud-based technologies.
