We are representing a PE-backed food manufacturer looking for a new Plant Manager.
This person would manage all aspects of a complex production line producing a flagship product for the company. This includes managing the Operations team (staff of 55 people per shift) as well as hiring and managing other critical roles like Continuous Improvement/Engineering, PMO, etc. as needed to make this line successful.
This production line is highly complex and as such they're looking for someone who has operated at Plant Manager level, is comfortable with that complexity and can oversee multiple functional areas and have overall accountability for the success of the line.
This will begin as a contract role with option to go permanent with a lot of advance opportunity within the company.
Requirements
- Experience with plant management in food manufacturing, specifically with complex or highly automated food manufacturing
- Knowledge on what good looks like for a manufacturing line and how to replicate it through prior experience
- Ability to deal with complexity and multiple functional areas
Onsite in San Antonio, Texas - open to regular travel in with a view to relocate if the role goes permanent.
