What you'll get to do?
- Develop SEM Strategies: Collaborate with the marketing team to create comprehensive search engine marketing strategies that align with company objectives and target audiences.
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Design detailed SEM campaign plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution of campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Keyword Research and Management: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify opportunities for optimization. Manage keyword lists and ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Ad Copy Development: Create compelling ad copy that resonates with target audiences while adhering to best practices for SEM.
- Performance Tracking and Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for SEM campaigns with a focus on maximizing RoAS. Implement tracking mechanisms using Google Analytics (including GA4) to analyze performance data and generate actionable insights for optimization towards campaign goals such as traffic, leads, conversions etc.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage SEM budgets effectively to maximize return on investment (ROI). Monitor expenses and adjust strategies as needed to stay within budget.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with demand generation teams such as product marketing, integrated marketing, and marketing automation to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends in search engine marketing and apply new knowledge to enhance campaign effectiveness.
What you should have?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) role.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics (including GA4), and other SEM tools, with certifications.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, define experiments and A/B tests, and derive actionable insights focused on revenue generation.
- Strong project management skills with the capability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of web and content management systems like HTML, WordPress, etc.
- Knowledge of the SaaS industry and B2B marketing is a plus.
