As a Flavourist / Sensory Scientist, you will source, apply, develop and create new high-quality flavours tailored to customer projects, product requirements and for special applications.

- Optimise and adjust existing flavours with the help of analysis and test results from flavour analytics and shelf life testing
- Establish an internal sensory panel and manage the planning, organisation, execution and evaluation of sensory tests
- Closely collaborate internally with food scientists, application scientists and the business development team and with our customers
- Leverage sensory data and flavour expertise to optimise formulations and resolve product development challenges
- Staying informed on advancements in sensory science and flavour chemistry, applying cutting-edge techniques to enhance new product development
The Perfect Recipe of Skills & Experience
- Passion for chocolate and confectionary products with a strong hands on mentality, organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Sensory Science or related fields in Food Science and Technology with extensive sensory experience or trained as a flavourist with at least 5 years of proven successful experience as flavorist in the flavour industry
- High level of initiative and able to build sensory capabilities from scratch
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers
- Fluent in English, German language skills are beneficial
