About the Role:
Whatfix is working on building bots/assistant that can take instructions by users in Natural language “Eg Apply for Casual leave from 20th Aug to 25th Aug 2023” and the bot will control the browser and execute the task on any application on the web. We are looking for rockstar AI/ML Engineers who have experience in
Solid Machine Learning and Deep Learning(Neural networks, transformer architecture etc) fundamentals
Experience deploying Deep Learning models in Production
Experience in Generative AI and various techniques of building solutions using LLMs such as RAG, Fine tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Implement ML and Deep learning algorithms for production
Build infrastructure needed for AI/ML systems, such as model inference, automated (re-)training, monitoring, explainability, etc.
Participate in Code Review and process improvement.
Stay abreast of new AI research relevant to us by reading papers and experimenting with code
Help AI product managers and business stakeholders understand the potential and limitations of AI for your Products
Run necessary ML tests and benchmarks for model validation
Fine-tune, retrain, and scale existing model deployments
Articulate complex problems by communicating viable architecture and design approaches in a clear and concise manner
Implement computationally complex model training and software applications understanding Neural networks and integrate them into the Whatfix saas platform.
Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems for one of the world’s fastest-growing startups
Envision project goals, and product architectural solutions with a high focus on detail to ensure successful implementation
Occasionally participate in customer demos & provide inputs wherever required
Conduct research to provide technical solutions at scale for real-world challenges in various scenarios
Our ideal AI/ML Engineer:
7+ years Experience in strong analytical background, with a degree in computer science, engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, deep learning, algorithms, statistics, or a similar field desirable
Direct work experience and proficiency in a few of the below technologies and frameworks:
Solid experience in building applications using one or more of the techniques: Deep Learning, frameworks used for Leveraging LLMs(RAG, Fine tuning, prompt-engineering)
Strong understanding of concepts related to Machine Learning and Statistics
Deep understanding of the family of Deep Learning and Computer Vision algorithms such as R-CNN, Fast R-CNN, Faster R-CNN, YOLO, etc
Solid hands-on knowledge of using Deep learning libraries such as PyTorch, Fastai, TensorFlow, OpenCV, etc.
Proficiency in the implementation of algorithms and the use of advanced data structures to solve problems in computing. A solid foundation in the principles of computer science is desired.
Working knowledge of finding ways to quickly experiment and deploy at least 2 DL-based solutions to production
Excellent communication and technical skills
A can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit to conceive ideas, turn challenges into opportunities, and build products
Ability to collaborate effectively with highly technical resources in a fast-paced environment
Ability to solve complex challenges/problems and rapidly deliver innovative solutions
- Experience in training multimodals eg: Vision Language models and deploying to production to solve business problems
Good to have:
Experience in solving Embodied AI problems or problems involving building reinforcement learning algorithms
Publication of DL-based research work in top-tier conferences is a plus
Previous experience with transformer/vision transformer-based models
Understanding using distributed computing frameworks like Spark
