THE ROLE
We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Carwow Leasey team in Winnersh, with the objective to support the delivery of tactical offers helping to accelerate the growth of the business.
The role involves taking ownership of leading key strategic commitment deals to support the department's growth. It involves working with key OEMs, supplying dealer partners, and the wider Carwow "Get Your Car" media division to define strategic opportunities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Head of Strategic Procurement - Leasing is very much a 'hands-on’ role, where we are looking for someone to be proactive in developing and supporting the growth of this area, where creativity, efficiency, and forward thinking are key elements.
- Lead on the delivery of the strategic tactical plan for Carwow Leasey.
- Increase our commit-to-purchase activity, enabling us to secure more exclusive offers, continuing to differentiate us from the market.
- Continuing to develop OEM, funder, and volume retailer relationships.
- Developing a strategic plan to ensure our supply meets the delivery targets and volume aspirations by identifying opportunities to achieve the required sales rate and availability across all channels.
- Building and implementing the commit-to-purchase sign-off process to enable the board to review and agree on opportunities quickly.
- Overall responsible for stock levels and sales rates to ensure we do not have overage units or receive financial penalties from our lenders.
- Identifying and resolving any potential situations or processes that could affect the order take of current or future offers.
- Managing 3rd party PDI and delivery partners.
- Working directly with the marketing team to ensure the most effective deals are marketed via social media, PPC, and direct marketing.
- Working with the wider Carwow OEM&Media teams to build strategic opportunities.
- Analysing our enquiries, orders, and conversion rates on all offers.
- Providing market insights and potential challenges to the board.
- Working with our analysis team to ensure we have effective reporting and visibility.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Proven experience of the vehicle leasing industry, and tactical deal management.
- An ability to work under pressure and meet team targets
- Reliable, resourceful, and approachable
- Self-driven, focused, results and quality oriented with strong negotiation skills.
- Work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
- Good organisational & administration skills and ability to prioritise workload based on business-critical needs
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an appetite for rapid growth organisation
- Proven experience in vehicle leasing, salary sacrifice, and the motor industry
- Solutions-focused and proven ability to proactively determine a positive outcome
- Strong proficienty of the Google Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
