About the role:
We are looking for a Strategy Manager to join our dynamic team at Billie, where you will play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy while also driving major sales initiatives. This role combines strategic, conceptual, and analytical work with a strong focus on hands-on sales execution, making it perfect for someone entrepreneurial and eager to learn how to build a high-performing commercial organization.
As a key player in our commercial team, you will work closely with leadership to assess business performance, identify growth opportunities, and refine our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies. At the same time, you will support our Sales team and take ownership of high-value sales deals, cultivating strong client relationships and driving significant revenue growth.
In more detail, you will:
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate market opportunities that drive the most business value for Billie and formulate actionable strategies
- Work closely with commercial leadership to structure and manage key strategic projects, such as defining GTM approaches for new markets, refining KPIs, and building competitive pricing models for new products.
- Take ownership of high-value sales deals and work closely with teams across Billie, including Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Operations, ensuring the delivery of strong revenue outcomes.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders at client organizations, positioning Billie as a strategic partner for their B2B payment solutions.
Who we are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or a strategic - commercial-facing- role in a fast-moving startup/scale-up (ideally FinTech)
- Exceptional conceptual thinking and analytical skills, with a strong ability to translate insights into practical, results-driven actions.
- A solid understanding of sales, combined with the readiness and determination to manage high-value sales cycles.
- Excellent communication skills; the ability to create and present compelling, data-backed narratives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly entrepreneurial and hands-on, capable of independently managing complex, high-impact initiatives.
- Fluency in both German and English.
