About The Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer L4 you will work on:
- Produce simple, maintainable code and in the meantime search for ways to improve it.
- Working together with the Product and Design teams to build the best UX for our customer
- The platform requires special attention on performance, given the complexity of the data structures and the amount of requests the services are handling each day. You will be responsible for well testing your code (unit tests, acceptance tests, integration tests, load tests, performance tests) and propose/implement performance improvements.
- Build adaptable UI components that can be used in various applications.
- Learn and help others learn how to write great quality code.
Our daily stack is:
- Technical stack: TypeScript, React, Jest, React Native, Auth0, etc.
- We add tests to everything using React Testing Library with Jest and we use Cypress for the E2E tests.
- We log what's going on internally using Sentry.
- We have our CI/CD with GitlabCI and we deploy several times each day.
- We share code and create internal libraries and npm packages.
- Design tool: Figma
- Project management and knowledge: JIRA, Notion.
- Communication: Slack, Meets
What we are looking for
- Outstanding software engineering skills.
- Proven experience with at least one of the following frameworks: React, Vue.
- You can convert a design into code and deliver it using current software engineering best practices.
- You are able to write code that someone unfamiliar with that software can understand.
- Experience in building medium/large-scale web applications with complex layouts and data structures.
- Experience in micro-frontends.
- A systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with unit, integration, functional, and e2e testing
- Learn from feedback and help others learn to write better applications.
- You’re passionate about what you do.
- You've never let not knowing a framework, a language, or discipline stop you from diving into and owning a project.
